Subject: Many thanks
"Hi, Clara, I sent a message to the Looper website about how much we appreciate all that was done for us in the recent Looper gathering, but I want to be sure I reach you, as well, with my thanks. Roger and I had never been to a Looper event before and we were blown away by what we found in Port St. Joe. It was clear that many people, though mostly you I think, had worked their bungees off to make it so great and everyone was talking about that. I know all of us left with fond memories of Port St. Joe and we will want to come again if Life and the Loop let us. Thanks again." Marcia - Ami de la Mer

"We sure did enjoy the week end with you and all the marina staff. The 'loopers' were fun too. You did an outstanding job planning this and executing the plan. We will see you by boat if this weather ever clears. thank you" - Carl and Greg Vernon, Panama City

"The mini-rendezvous provided great fun, pertinent information and delicious food. It was also good to meet several couples that were new AGLCA members and were attending their first Looper event. Dockmaster Clara did an excellent job organizating the entire weekend and is already planning for the mini-rendezvous in Port St. Joe next year. The town of Port St. Joe is very friendly. Many of the town merchants provided gifts, gift certificates and services at a discount. And for this we say Thank You to Port St. Joe and to Clara. It was a splendid weekend."

"The Looper event this time was our first and it was wonderful. We were blown away by all the work and preparation that had been done for all of us; in our former lives, most of us probably helped with similar events, so we know it doesn't just happen by itself. We will keep Pt. St Joe on our list of places to come back to, maybe even hang out for awhile after we do the Loop. Thanks to all who made it possible, you are the greatest!" - Marcia and Roger Krueger

"As we wend our way along the GIWW back home to Panama City this Sunday morning, Mary and I would like to extend our thanks to Clara and the staff of Port St Joe Marina (the friendliest marina on the Gulf Coast) for an excellent event. The weather cooperated (up until this afternoon), and everybody seemed to have a good time. We would have liked to spend a lot more quality time with all the wonderful Loopers we met, but there were so many of us it was just not possible. Thanks again to all for the pleasure of your company, and we extend to you the traditional Navy wish of 'fair winds and following seas.'"

Stayed for two days to get groceries, propane, fuel, and pump out. Upon arrival, two staff members were there to help us tie up and direct us to the office. Office staff friendly and very helpful, answering all our questions. Loaner bikes were excellent to run errands and see the town. Town had everything for which we were looking. On site bar was wonderful; we had a delicious meal. Restaurant staff was also very friendly. Marina manager, Dean, supplied us with a newspaper and weather forecast daily. All
facilities were clean and well kept. The Gifted Gourmet in town is a great little shop. They helped us select items and wrapped and shipped them for us. If we are ever this way again, we will definitely stop in!
